     Dear Medical College Forum Participant,

The University of Florida Premed AMSA chapter thanks you for your interest in the Fifteenth Annual Medical College Forum. This year's forum will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 in the J. Wayne Reitz Union on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville.

Check-in for MCF will run from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM on the second floor of the Reitz Union, where we will distribute informational folders with programs and tote bags to participants. Please arrive punctually in business attire (i.e. no jeans, shorts, sneakers). Following check-in, the forum will begin with a Medical Student Panel at 9:30 in the Auditorium on the second floor of the Reitz Union. Following the medical student panel, we will begin our small group sessions. The forum will consist of five different 30-minute sessions. After the first two sessions we will break for lunch from 12:00am to 12:55pm and then resume with the other three sessions. The Reitz Union Food Court will be open on the first floor of the Reitz Union for your convenience.

The five break away sessions of the forum consist of five different 30-minute sessions. These discussions give you the opportunity to ask specific questions about a medical school's characteristics from the officers themselves. This will not only help you learn more about each school but will also allow you to demonstrate your interest to medical school representatives who will be making decisions concerning your admission. After these sessions, the forum will conclude with refreshments on the second floor lobby, where you can further converse with the medical school representatives. The forum is expected to end at 3:30pm.

MCF costs $20 this year, which includes a T-shirt, the program, and refreshments after the forum. Registration may be paid online or at the Premed AMSA office in Room 330B of the Reitz Union no later than 3:00 pm on February 10th. Late registration, which can be completed until the small group sessions begin during the forum, will cost $25 ($20 plus a $5 late fee). Participation is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please make sure to complete the registration form as soon as possible.
